In the event of an impact, the stamp (acting as a mandrel)\u00a0<b>1<\/b>\u00a0enters the deformation tube\u00a0<b>2<\/b> and expands it by up to 20 %. The initiated energy is converted into deformation energy and by means of friction into heat energy. The combination of deformation and friction determines the reaction force level.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The maintenance-free CE-series crash element is a cost-effective irreversible shock reducing element for emergency use.
